when we had our baby duck one of our cats slept on top of his cage for weeks. Once we put him out and free-ranged him, he slept curled around that same cat and the two of them could not be separated. They followed each other like puppies.
I hope she won't try to kill them once their ready to be outside! She sticks her paw in thru the holes and tries to grab them. If I can keep them alive for a couple of months, they'll be bigger than her and she may leave them alone as she does the full grown hens.
